Our vision

To build a gospel-centered community where girls are free to flourish as children of God.

Less than 1% of this community knows Jesus.

Strategically positioned outside the city limits of Dakar, Senegal, Teranga Village is a response of the local church to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to their unreached community.

In partnership with Engineering Ministries International, the Presbyterian Church of Senegal and West African Reformed Mission are committed to building a safe home where girls are free to flourish as children of God.

How to build a village

Making room for more…

This gospel-centered community will bring a safe home, education, and discipleship to 63 girls who lack a healthy home. Girls will live alongside community leaders who have a heart for Jesus. They’ll receive the care and discipleship needed to know their identity in Christ and flourish as daughters of God.

“Being together we are like sisters and we can share everything with each other.”

“The idea of Teranga is really in everything we do—even eating around the bowl together, sharing our food, the way village life happens—everything.”
